Bride's survival kit

Family and girlfriends are definitely in my Bride's Survival Kit apart from bridal mags, guide books and oxygen ... they stand by me through this difficult time of wedding preps madness... the trickiest bit is not about making arrangements but more of making the right choice! there's so many to choose from....
Lina, my sis a.k.a my wedding planner, umi a.k.a my wedding advisor, papa and aunty Nor, and of course my best half a.k.a wedding financier/'yes' man, are all part of the bride's path to her wedding day...
in addition, Farah, my great friend, helped me with wedding songs... she even had an entry in her blog about me... that's sooo sweet of you... oh you should really check out her blog http://syabilsania.blogspot.com/ ... it's full of substance  Kak Malin, my lovely colleague/sis/friend will be the VVIP on my special day to provide endless supply of assistance... Kak Nora, my spa buddy and bridesmaid, please alert me with the photographer at all time...heheee
I must thank you all in advance for the continuous support... this abridged list will be longer when I do the wedding after math...

to the side everyone... now give way to a new addition in the family... born Mohd Haikal Ikmal on the 12th general election day, he weighs a bouncing 3 kg... presenting the first photos of my future nephew (I'm officially your aunty in 2 months time!)... celebrating this new arrival filled up my weekend with much bliss... I was literally there when he was born... being the first grandson in the family, i can imagine he'll be spoilt rotten with love by the proud granny and aunties... he even has his first knitted wool blanket made exclusively by grandma.... don't grow up too fast Haikal... i prefer babies when they are still tiny wriggling hopelessly with eyes shut uncle shahrul, Haikal needs a big tot hug!

Taiping Stopover
|

|
Taiping is an idea of a peaceful and calm location... renowned for its 'retirement town' reputation, it is now home to many pensioners who seek a low key life... we spent a night at the Taiping Golf Resort before we head back to KL.... Acu and Danish would not miss the pool session for anything else... it was actually a treat from my mom for the little tots...

Cat fights

Danish and his Acu couldn't stand each other for more than 5 mins! they fight, they struggle, they shove each other off and he cries... having these two kids around at the same time is hard work... Acu likes to tease him for no good reasons... on the other hand, Danish wants to have whatever Acu is having... it does put our patience to the test... the funny thing is, they would miss each other whenever they are apart...

the name might sound familiar to some of you.. yes, he is indeed the son of Mayor and Uyul... Syahmi's 1st bday was celebrated later in the week with much moderation but he had candles to blow on 3 cakes! anyway, Danish and Syifa couldn't resist to help the little one with blowing the candles... as if that's not enough to steal the bday boy's limelight, they even had a trial ride on Syahmi's new pushbike (from his mama and papa) and messed up his toys... blimey!

Marina Waterpark

Do you know that there's a waterpark in Lumut? Apparently there is one. We discovered that by accident where it happened to be in the place we're staying. It was so rewarding for the kids after that 3 hour journey to meet their fave Uncle Aol. We had whale of a time there. The waterpark is not as grand as Sunway Lagoon but we could use a little splash in the hot weather.
The weekend passed by so fast. Obviously I was the happiest of all to be able to see my hunk again.
